Thank you for taking the time to stop by our farm page and blog. We will be sharing about our daily farm life. Things like life as a shepherds with our Clun Forest and Clun and Finn sheep mix flock. We also have 21 chickens, a coonhound, a very old Maltese and a cat. This life is a dream come true. Matt and I have prayed for around 20 years to own our own farm. We never thought we would be here.
I will be milking our sheep (yes you can milk sheep). More later on the benefits of sheep milk! There will be cheese, yogurt, milk soap, and wooly wonders!
Our primary focus is preservation of our Clun Forest. Their breed is on the Livestock Conservancy list of threatened breeds. We will be breeding this fall and praying we have beautiful lambs born next year.
